Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, how VeriSweep handles information during the closed beta.
Information VeriSweep may collect
VeriSweep collects information needed to create accounts, operate the application, and provide contract profitability reports.
- Account information, such as name, email address, password authentication data managed through Better Auth, and email verification status.
- Company and business information, such as the company name entered during onboarding.
- Contract and profitability data entered by users, including contract names, client names, expected revenue, expected labor, labor cost, other costs, target margin, monthly actual labor, and actual costs.
- CSV data uploaded by users for monthly actuals import.
- Technical and service information needed to operate the application, such as session, request, rate-limit, and background-job records.
How information is used
- To authenticate accounts and manage verified access to a VeriSweep workspace.
- To create and manage company, contract, and monthly actual records.
- To calculate expected margin, actual margin, margin drift, monthly leakage, annualized leakage, and contract health status.
- To generate dashboard views, CSV import previews, and weekly profitability emails.
- To support service security, reliability, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and product operation.
Weekly email reports
VeriSweep may send weekly profitability or risk summary emails to verified owner users for a company when there are contracts that need attention, such as At Risk, Watch, or missing-actual contracts.
Service providers
VeriSweep uses service providers to operate the application. Based on the current application stack, these may include Vercel for hosting, Neon for PostgreSQL database infrastructure, Resend for email delivery, and Trigger.dev for scheduled background jobs. These providers process information as needed to provide their services to VeriSweep.
Data retention
VeriSweep keeps account, company, contract, import, and reporting data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve issues, and operate the closed beta. Specific deletion timelines may be added as the service matures.
Security
VeriSweep uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect the service, including authenticated access, verified-user checks, tenant isolation, rate limiting, and secure transport configuration. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
User choices
Users can choose what company, contract, monthly actual, and CSV data they enter into VeriSweep. Closed-beta participants who need help with account access or data questions should use the support contact provided with their beta invitation.
Children
VeriSweep is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children.
